Description

Seal Reactivator / Rejuvenator is a strong blend of key solvents and surfactants designed to emulsify and re-flow old and faded solvent-based acrylic sealers. Thick layers of old sealer with a dingy, dull look can be made fresh again. Seal Reactivator / Rejuvenator penetrates down through the deepest layers of sealer to help the acrylics soak back into the concrete substrate, removes trapped moisture, and helps eliminate blushing.

Seal Reactivator / Rejuvenator is also used prior to resealing. Some older acrylic sealers can get very hard and brittle after exposure to the elements. Saturating a previously sealed surface with Seal Reactivator / Rejuvenator before the new coat is applied softens the existing acrylic, giving the new sealer a stronger bond for better service life.

Coverage:
Typical application rate 150-250 sq ft per gallon. Especially thick coatings may require multiple applications.

Directions for Use:

Substrate Preparation:
ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS: Rain should not be forecast for 24 hours after application. Water present on the surface or high humidity may lead to undesired results. Product should be applied when surface temperature is between 40° and 80° and at least five degrees above the dew point.

Mixing Instructions:
Material should be stirred well prior to application. Long term storage may allow material to separate.

Application Instructions:
Use soap and water to thoroughly clean the surface prior to application. Product will work more effectively when applied during the cooler part of the day, allowing a longer dwell time. Apply with a pump-up sprayer resistant to Xylene, or by using a solvent-resistant paint roller. Apply evenly to the surface. Use enough Seal Reactivator / Rejuvenator to completely re-wet the existing sealer through to the bottom layer. Agitating the wetted surface with a roller will aid in softening the existing sealer faster. If needed repeat the process after the sealer is hard enough to walk on. Allow the sealer to dry at least 24 hours before returning to foot traffic, and at least 48 hours before heavy traffic.

When used prior to re-sealing wait for the surface to become hard enough to walk on before applying the new coat of sealer. Wait times will vary with temperature. Generally, the application of the new sealer should begin no sooner than 2 hours and no longer than 6 hours after the surface is treated with Seal Reactivator / Rejuvenator.

Storage:
Store in a well-ventilated place. Keep container tightly closed. Keep cool. Store locked up. Protect from temperature extremes.

Disposal:
Recycle and/or dispose of contents and containers in accordance with local, regional, national, and international regulations.

Shelf Life:
Up to one year from original manufacture date when stored in its original, unopened container at room temperature. May be extended with reasonable care.

Limitations:
This product is not intended for public use and is intended for use by qualified contractors and installers with proper experience and training in the use of these products, and that have read the complete safety data sheet. Apply product only when substrate and ambient temperatures are within the accepted range. 

This Product is classified as a Hazardous Materials and needs to be shipped according to the Transportation of Dangerous Goods (TDG) shipping regulations. Because of this, extra shipping charges will be assessed due to the TDG services needed.  This product will have to be shipped on an LTL carrier that has the capabilities to carry out this service.  You will be contacted with the extra charges needed.
